Strada stretta e manto stradale in parte rovinato

The road that just before the Cremosina Tunnel comes off to the right coming from Pogno is a nice surprise, both for the ascent to Rastiglione and for the one that leads in a little more than a km to the Bertagnina locality. The'incipit is quite challenging: gradients close to 15% for 200m that immediately make it clear that you are not messing around. Apart from a short section around 10%, the rest of the climb is a thin ribbon of asphalt in very poor condition that with a few hairpin bends drops off at almost 700m asl near a small church on the left. The final stretch is also very challenging. Therefore I recommend dosing your energy well so that you do not arrive near the end in oxygen debt. The ribbon of asphalt continues to the hamlet of Campiano, which can be reached downhill in just over a mile with the last very steep section in the heart of Mount Fenera Park. The asphalt road ends in Campiano: therefore with the bdc you have to retrace the same road uphill. And the first section is quite hellish with gradients up to 18% with asphalt in very bad condition and a small road where barely a car passes.
