You can indeed ignore the miniature sign with "11％". This feels more like a climb just over the border in Belgium, namely a fine runner with a few nice bends. The course is exceptionally scenic by Dutch standards with the bends, the beautiful surroundings and now and then nice views towards the west. Furthermore, excellent tarmac. Technically speaking, it is a nice climb but not particularly challenging. Nevertheless, highly recommended, of course also because of the name. After the climb (at the information board and the bench) the road continues for a long time as false flat.

The Bemelerberg is a well known climb, but not too heavy. With good legs you don't have to shift back to the inner blade. Really a nice climb to ride on power to the top. If you go up too fast, the last part can be a bit of a disappointment. The wind sometimes plays a role here too.
De Bemelerberg is een bekende beklimming, maar niet al te zwaar. Met goede benen hoef je hier niet terug te schakelen naar het binnenblad. Echt een fijne klim om op macht naar de top te rijden. Als je te hard omhoog gaat kan het laatste stukje wel nog tegenvallen. Hier speelt de wind soms ook nog een rol.

If you continue straight at the top and turn right on the Keerderweg you can see the substantial Groeve 't Rooth.

Deze weg is echt niet zo lastig als vaak beweerd wordt. Het is eerder juist een lekkere klim die zeer mooie gelegen is. Ook om af te dalen een leuke weg.
