Niet te moeilijke klim over een vrijliggend fietspad langs de Belvéderèweg aan de noordrand van Maastricht. Klimmetje in twee delen. In het begin loopt even even wat steiler op. Hierna volgt een langer stuk vals plat waarna het richting top dan weer wat steiler wordt. Prima om even gas te geven op de weg naar Smeermaas (B).
