This climb provides quite a lot of shade on a hot day. As my predecessor said, this climb keeps going towards until you reach the village. If you have a headwind, this can still be quite a struggle, even if the percentages are only a few percent.

Prachtige beklimming die je in het middenstuk langs rotspartijen voert. De percentages zijn nooit echt steil, dus je kunt echt knallen als je dat mocht willen. Deze klim geeft vrij veel schaduw op een warme dag. Zoals mijn voorganger zei, blijft deze klim naar doorlopen tot je in het dorp bent. Als je tegenwind hebt kan dat nog best een worsteling zijn, ook al zijn de percentages maar enkele procenten.
Wel echt een mooie klim.
From the Mullerthal, take the turn-off towards Beaufort. Over perfect asphalt, the gradients rise to 7-8 per cent. Every now and then it flattens out, but it never gets really steep. You drive under a nice rock face, get two more nice hairpins and then you are out of the forest. Another short climb between the meadows and then a short descent. You think you're almost there but the road keeps climbing towards and through Beaufort.
Vanuit het Mullerthal neem je de afslag richting Beaufort. Over perfect asfalt lopen de stijgingspercentages op tot 7 à 8 procent. Zo af en toe wordt het wat vlakker, echt steil wordt het nooit. Je rijdt onder een mooie rotswand door, krijgt nog twee leuke haarspeldbochten en dan ben je het bos uit. Nog even klimmen tussen de weilanden en dan een korte afdaling. Je denkt dat je er bijna bent maar de weg blijft nog lang oplopen naar en door Beaufort.
