It was quite a climb from Bekkevoort to Scherpenheuvel. I was coming from the Koningin Astridstraat. With some luck there is little traffic on the busy road and you can cross at the intersection with some speed to attack the slope. Underground is clinkers, but are newer than those in the photo. The road surface has presumably been renewed. You get to the top very quickly, but then you run out of eyes every time. Underground is clinkers, but are newer than those in the photo. The road surface has presumably been renewed. You get to the top very quickly, but then you run out of eyes every time. You come to a kind of square/parking where cars're driving and then turn right into the Brouwerijstraat. A very narrow road here and at the next intersection you drive straight past a sign C1, excluding cyclists. But it still remains observant and busy.
As a result, before you know it, you are at the top and have not been able to give your all.
I like the side via the Diestsestraat better.

Very short climb. The start is steep on not the best surface.
