Het ligt wat wij noemen aan de achterkant van de Balenberg en de laatste 200 meter zit in het parcours van de jaarlijkse grote prijs Sven Nys veldrit op nieuwjaarsdag. Je kan hier zonder problemen met de grote plateau naar boven. Het is ook het enige heuveltje in deze omgeving en verder noordwaarts is er geen niveauverschil meer maar je hebt er wel mooie fietsroutes in een mooue natuur en vele kleine wegen. Voor meer heuvels moet je richting zuidwaarts fietsen waar je in het prachtige Hageland komt met heel veel steile hellingen en muren.
