Nothing special about this climb, except that it counts for the Cotacol rankings. It can be quite busy here. Especially in the direct surroundings, real chaos of Brussels car traffic...... read more

Nice climb through a wooded lush residential area. As it is a wide road, you are not much bothered by car traffic. Excellent road surface.

Uitstekend wegdek.

Nice regular climb to Uccle observatory. The downside is that you drive past parked cars'along the whole length.

very nice climb, with a regular gradient, road in good condition, residential area, the road is quite wide and it's one of the longest climbs in the Brussels region, but not the most difficult, I think it'd look great on a possible circuit for the world championships to be held in Brussels in 2030.

A climb like I like them, regular slope and not too high! We do everything on the big plateau ... at full speed (or almost 😉 ).
An ascent in a beautiful avenue typical of the chic districts of Brussels.

Nice climb through a residential area. Approach is through a busy district of Brussels and therefore not ideal. Asphalt is good, which is almost unique for this region. Nice climb to go full speed ahead

As the Dutch comments state, this hill is mentioned in the Cotacol encyclopedia. I personally like it, not so much because of the climb itself but because of the observatory at the top. I love this place, one of the most remarkable in the area. It's where we get our weather forecasts from the RMI, the Royal Meteorological Institute.

Crowd wasn't that bad. Idd also done for cotacol. But there was also a very long climb in Brussels itself, you won't find any longer. But you don't want to stay in the city with your bike.

Drukte viel goed mee.
