Plus grande ascension du bocage vendéen, ce n'est pas celle qui a les plus beaux paysages tout du long ni celle sur la route la moins fréquentée mais il ne faut surtout pas rater le virage à gauche à la fin afin de finir les jambes sur la portion à plus de 10％ qui mène au moulin des justices. Pas de point de vue panoramique en haut car on est dans un sous bois.
