On y accède par une grande route très fréquentée, qui personnellement m'a mis assez mal à l'aise.
Le premier virage se fait autour d'une centrale à béton, qui amène son lot de poussière quand elle est en activité.
Dommage, parce qu'après une poussée intense, les points de vue valent vraiment la poussée. Il est d'ailleurs possible de continuer vers le col d'Otxondo ou celui d'Urtzumeatza.
