This one is quite fun to do. Not a really tough climb but typical of the region and good warm-up on the way to the Flemish Ardennes or for a ride just after winter in a build-up phase. This one is fun because you cycle in open space with quite nice views. Mainly meadows and on the right you can see the mill at the Wannegem-Lede cobblestone strip. You are normally well-launched before the start which is actually more false flat. This is followed by two bends where it is already a bit steeper and then at the end there is a steep kink, where you do sometimes notice that you have lost your pace a bit. You reach the top at the end of the cobbles of Wannegem which are on the right. The cobbles of Lede and Doorn are straight ahead.

Country road on Flemish concrete slabs with warm-up percentages. Never steep
Many climbs in that area ending in cobblestone roads on top.

Plattelandsweg op Vlaamse betonplaten met opwarm percentages. Nooit steil
