This climb uses quite a busy main road, but it's still worth doing. It's one of those head-down and maintain your cadence kind of climbs. The top is always further than you think, but once you're over that first brow and into the woods it becomes a less daunting and more pleasurable experience as it gradually unwinds. In my view, this climb is worth putting up with traffic for. It's great in descent too, when you can sprint over the top and get into a tuck very early.
