Relaxte klim door een mooie omgeving (het moerassige beekdal zelf is ook al erg fraai) die vooral over uitstekende gravel loopt. Het laatste stukje is prima asfalt en bij het paaltje is het hoogste punt waarna een goed asfaltfietspad verder loopt. De klim is onderdeel van een mooie doorgaande fietsroute.
