Nice climb, not too tough and actually " a nice runner", up to Competa. Nice temperatures already in March and nice to work on some climbing kilometres. The locals, in the car, take good account of climbing cyclists by observing the, in Spain, mandatory 1.5 mtr distance when overtaking. Tourists (recognisable by the rental stickers) on cars and Dutch license plates apparently think this is less important and sometimes want to take a gamble by overtaking cyclists just before a blind bend. Competa is a village worth seeing and, as a result, the climb is still sometimes busy with tourist traffic. Despite this, the climb from Algerobo is definitely worthwhile. The real climb starts in Algerobo itself once you cross the bridge at the roundabout.

Nice climb, nothing special but nice views and good road surface. You can do long stretches on the big sheet as it is not particularly steep except around the three hairpin bends.

But very nice to combine towards salares and sedella, which is a really beautiful road with a climb of 2.2km to 13%

First section from the coast has fairly heavy traffic. Fairly many trucks until just before Algarobbo village. From there it is quiet.
