Quiet road snugged into the forest. Very few cars even on weekends. Tunnel at the top has no lights inside, better bring your own.

Nice climb that doesn't really get very steep through a nice wooded Basque hill landscape. Not much traffic in quiet surroundings. Ends with a tunnel (not a pass) on the border with Navarre. Started the climb from the turnoff to the Arditurri mine where I had cycled to on the Arditurriko Bidegorria (a cycle path over a former railway line).
