Preuswald is een wat vreemde jaren-70-wijk die tegen de helling van het Aachener Wald is aangebouwd, ver en geïsoleerd van de rest van Aachen. Om hier te komen kan je alleen langs/over de doorgaande weg door flinke bossen naar de ingang van de wijk klimmen. De klim zelf kronkelt door de wijk naar boven over een redelijke loper.
