Si prende la deviazione per PIANTINA-ERDONA appena dopo il tornantone al km 3 della strada provinciale della Val Gerola..da qui l'asfalto è in pessime condizioni, la salita già con pendenze elevate è resa difficoltosa dal fatto che non è regolare ma con alcuni brevi strappi. Poco panoramica e un'unica fontana sul percorso. Se in MTB o Gravel consiglio di continuare qualche centinaio di metri fino ai Bagni dell'Orso.
