One of the toughest climbs in Valsesia. Long, demanding, and almost never lets up. Only, it is never the best to arrive at a ski resort in summer, and Alpe di Mera is no exception, with its sense of rust and disorder.... read more

Ascent yes steep and challenging but in my opinion not very scenic and boring scenically speaking.. until three quarters of the way up practically nothing to admire... then the view opens up until you get to the alpe.In my opinion if you want to suffer there are much more scenic climbs to do.

As for the climb, nothing to say, very beautiful and steep with some peaks above 15%. The first part is steep, then the gradients drop, but not much and then we arrive at Alpe Trogo where there is the most difficult part, the rest of the climb is quite difficult. The traffic is very moderate and therefore very good; the only defect is the asphalt, especially on the descent to Trogo, which is full of potholes.
However super recommended

Il traffico è molto moderato quindi molto buono; l'unico difetto è l'asfalto specialmente in discesa in località Trogo contante buche.
Comunque super consigliata
