The climb starts in the village of Pedescala and through a twisty and winding road leads to the village of Rotzo. The climb is easily approachable ad it's gradient is consistently around 5% throughout the whole climb, peaking only at a round 7/8% in the steepest bits on some of the bends. The road surface is mostly fine with the exception of the occasional crack of smal pothole. Beware of the fallen rocks that might be present on the road, especially when descending. Most of the climb is in shade, so it surely is recommended during the summer. Some sections provide a scenic view over the Val D'Astico
