Reviews/stories (1)
My home region, where I return regularly. It's a real paradise for mountain bikers: passes galore, with a wide variety of altitudes and difficulties, with sublime landscapes in the Chartreuse as well as in the Vercors and Belledonne, or even in the Matheysine.
However, it remains (relatively) unknown to foreign cyclists, who are much more attracted to neighbouring regions such as Maurienne or Bourg-d'Oisans, which benefit much more from the media coverage of the Tour de France.
But it's a blessing in disguise, you can still cycle there without being bothered by aggressive cycling tourism. :-)
