Short climb with relatively high percentages over good tarmac (the cycle path is ok) and with little traffic (except at weekends)

A short climb, but an unusual one. The Blausteinsee is the relict of an old brown coal quarry that has been largely filled in again. The lake has a beach and some facilities such as a café. To get to the start of the climb, you have to descend. You can descend further via a fire road, until you reach the waterline. Then you get about 50 meters of cobblestones and some extra altimeters. From the roundabout, follow the winding road upwards (this is the steepest part) and then turn left on the cycle path that winds its way relaxed upwards. Just after the highest point, there is a nice view of the lake on the left.
