Prachtige klim die de schakel vormt tussen de Ettrick en Yarrow Valleys. De kwaliteit van het asfalt is helaas matig al heb je daar bij het klimmen a 8% niet heel veel last van. Beter dus klimmen vanuit Yarrow Valley en afdalen naar de Ettrick Valley, waar het asfalt perfect is (N->Z). Autoluw, wel opletten voor schapen op de weg.
