A beautiful green climb. Only in the first part between the vineyards, nice views but you do not do this climb for that because you would not get much energy to enjoy it. This climb is done for the percentages and they are there, this is really hard work to get up which distinguishes the climb from other climbs in this area. Further on, you turn away from the Moselle and follow the valley of the Willersbach and immediately the percentages go up heavily. After that, the going gets a little lighter but it is still hard work. After the vineyards you follow the green valley further up into the forest. In the forest it levels off almost completely although the road keeps on climbing slightly until it reaches the main road.
