The first 850 metres (out of 1450 metres) can hardly be categorised as false flat, let alone a slope. This first section contains the cobbles. Actually, the last stretch (Wilgenbaan) is the only climb. But this segment is a nice alternative to the Brusselsesteenweg. A stone road that does have a good cycle path.
