The climb itself is beautiful (so are the surroundings) but does not represent much. Unfortunately, new loose gravel had recently been laid down, making it a challenge. Before the farm at the top, you can choose to enter a narrow unpaved path. Is maybe 100m (where you also have to go through 2 stiles, you just have to lift your bike over them) but then you can cycle on asphalt again towards the descent through Waterval. The advantage is that you have a great view on that stretch.
Het klimmetje zelf is mooi (de omgeving ook) maar stelt niet heel veel voor. Helaas was er recent nieuw los grind neergelegd waardoor het wel een uitdaging was. Je kunt voor de boerderij boven ervoor kiezen een smal onverhard paadje in te gaan. Is misschien 100m (waarbij je ook 2 stegelkes doormoet, daar moet je je fiets even overheen tillen) maar dan kun je daarna ook weer verhard doorfietsen richting de afdaling door Waterval. Voordeel is dat je op dat stukje een schitterend uitzicht hebt.
Short but pretty fierce climb through beautiful surroundings. It is advisable to tackle this one after De Kling so you have two steep climbs in a row and pick up quite a few points. The climb is followed by a flat section on a tarmac road that dead ends at a farm. Straight on, you can descend steeply via a gravel road, first slightly and then through a beautiful forest, returning to tarmac relatively quickly. Doable on a road bike provided you take it very easy.
Kort maar best fel klimmetje door een mooie omgeving. Het is aan te raden deze na De Kling mee te pakken zodat je twee steile klimmetjes achter elkaar hebt en best wel wat punten meepakt. Na de klim volgt nog een vlak stuk over een asfaltweggetje dat doodloopt bij een boerderij. Rechtdoor kan je via een gravelweg eerst lichtjes en daarna door een mooi bos steil afdalen waarbij je relatief snel weer op asfalt komt. Is te doen met een racefiets mits je het wel heel rustig aandoet.
