To climb, this one is great - consisting of two long steep sections. 4th time good time, because when turning right to the last section they were working for a long time and you couldn't get through. Now this has finally been fixed and you can cycle all the way back to the top. All in all, the road surface is not too bad - this descent was also included in the course of the Flèche Wallonne (Proximus Challenge 2023) and I found it doable. All in all, a great climb that you must have done.... read more

Terrible climb on a rocky road...climb with steep peaks...definitely not recommended for a descent.

In contrast to many other climbs in the area, it never gets extremely steep, but the length makes the climb certainly difficult. The surroundings are nice, but not as nice as the wannerval or cote de wanne. In the last part, the road surface is not great either. In short, fun to tackle, but there are better climbs around the corner.

Nice alternative for the even steeper Wanneranval. Unfortunately the tarmac is not too good. The first part of the climb is often used by cyclists descending the Stockeu. The second part is often really deserted. The second part of the climb can also be done directly after climbing the Stockeu, although not many people choose for that option.

Climb that gets steeper every time. Completely the climb without meeting a single cyclist. Terrible road surface.

Klim die steeds iets steiler wordt. Volledig de klim geen enkele fietser tegengekomen. Wel verschrikkelijk wegdek.

Man, full speed ahead; no bullshit but cycling.

Man, volle bak sprinten; geen gelul maar fietsen.

Don't be mistaken about this climb. If you start it is not so bad, but when you cycle you do not see that the steeper part from km 1 is quite steep because you are surrounded by trees. The last part is nice and clear. Turning off in the Chemin Forrestier
