It's longer, with a lower average gradient, and with some beautiful woodland and stunning views. The only problem is the cars. The road is too narrow for cars to pass, apart from in a few places, and this can spoil your enjoyment. The climb is slightly spoiled by the speed bumps on the flat section to the exit, after the climb, but the woodland you ride though is beautiful and makes up for this.
