Climb over a cobbled cycle path (so safer than such'a narrow bike lane) next to a through road. By the way, the cobbles later turn into well-laid concrete. Boring climb but because the road is dead straight you can see it rising nicely at first. After the transition to the false flat section you can also see the final "top" well - and far - ahead of you but it still takes a while before you get there.
Klim over een klinkerfietspad (dus veiliger dan zo'n smal fietsstrookje) naast een doorgaande weg. De klinkers gaan later overigens over in goed liggend beton. Saaie klim maar omdat de weg kaarsrecht is zie je deze in het begin wel mooi oplopen. Na de overgang naar het vals-plat-gedeelte zie je ook de uiteindelijke "top" goed - en ver - voor je uit liggen maar het duurt dan nog wel even voordat je daar bent.
