The profile indicates that the steepest part is 8％, but my navigation indicated 11％ for a few metres, so you don't do it just like that.
Een lekker klimmetje die je niet zomaar ff doet. Hij is kort en gaat bij droog weer waarschijnlijk over een prachtig wegdek, maar bij hevige regen is het oppassen geblazen voor de rommel op de weg. Het profiel geeft aan dat het steilste stuk 8％ is, maar mijn navigatie gaf voor een paar meter even 11％ aan en daarom doe je hem niet zomaar.
A nice winding climb in beautiful surroundings (and there are more nice roads here). Halfway up there is a nice slope in the climb which takes just a bit longer than you think "read on the road" . Good tarmac but there is a chance of blubber on the road.
Een mooi slingerend klimmetje omhoog in een prachtige omgeving (en er zijn meer mooie weggetjes hier). Halverwege zit er nog een lekkere helling in de klim die net iets langer duurt dan je aan de weg denkt "af te lezen" . Prima asfalt maar wel kans op blubber op de weg.

TIP: the scenic area within the quadrangle of Munstergeleen, Doenrade, Schinnen and Sweikhuizen has more of these hidden gems.
Mooie klim in een prachtige omgeving. Er liggen wel genoeg steentjes, stukjes hout en aarde/modder op de weg. Voor mij reden deze weg - en omliggende wegen - te vermijden bij natte omstandigheden. TIP: het landschappelijk gebied binnen de vierhoek Munstergeleen, Doenrade, Schinnen en Sweikhuizen herbergt meer van dit soort verborgen juweeltjes.
