Nice little climb if you want something different from the better-known climbs in the area. Nice tarmac, reasonably quiet and a nice view at the top - sometimes you don't need more than that! Otherwise nothing special compared to the rest of the area, though.... read more

Not an exceptional climb, especially considering what's around, but I still enjoy riding it. Pretty straightforward, wind usually has free rein there which adds to the difficulty. The tarmac is perfect, there are views and opportunities to ride on to other climbs.

Nice mountain that is not so steep in the beginning but at the end the percentage increases but it is doable. When you get to the top you have a great view of the region.

Beautiful climb, which indeed didn't steal its name.... I thought the earlier review somewhat detracted from this beautiful climb, especially as an avid cobblestone avoider, so five stars to give it a boost then! Especially since this climb is perfectly combinable with the Paterberg: at the top you continue straight ahead, until you can turn right. In this descent you pass the top of the Paterberg, but at the bottom you can just turn left again, left again into the Keuzelingstraat et voila, it's in front of you :)

The Waaienberg - you can blow there, by the way! - is on the other side of the Paterberg and therefore not very well known. And rightly so, because it is not much. At the top there is a small chapel with a bench where you can enjoy the view, which is worthwhile. On the other hand, the Paterberg has this too, so next time we will go up there anyway!
