The long approach through the forest is already beautiful, but the climb itself is stunning. From the point where cars are not allowed to continue, the percentages increase slightly (to 10%) but the views on the last stretch are phenomenal. We did have a lot of walking families that we had to navigate between.

A beautiful climb with a long easy start and more testing upper section, especially in case of a headwind.
Superb views in late September with coloured leaves/nature around. Worth adding the few kms to Labska bouda, but be careful - there can be many tourists.

Long approach through the forest along a stream to the real climb (as described above). But that climb is beautiful. At the top you are rewarded with great views. Descend carefully as the asphalt is not of good quality everywhere.

Longest climb in the Czech Republic, but honestly, only the last 7-8km can be considered a real climb with a gradient of around 8%. Most people end the ride on Vrbatova bouda (old mounting hut), but you can actually ride a few more kilometers to Labska bouda. Anyway, it is a nice climb and I can definitely recommend it.
