Steep, steeper, steepest!!! I climbed the Angliru last year, but I don't remember it having a section as steep as the first 500 metres of this climb!!! Nice tarmac, so it's not down to that if you do get parked. We even met a descending car along the way, so this road is actually used by the inhabitants of the upper hamlet of Vordergraseck. Funny: when you come out of the forest and enter the hamlet, signs tell you to drive slowly because of children playing; as if you could go fast.... A memorable challenge!!! At the top, by the way, you are spoiled by beautiful views of green alpine meadows.

Steil, steiler, steilst!!!
