Always wondered where that road leaded to, and today I explored it. Nice climb but certainly not as steep as the Côte de Hansez which is close by. During the climb the road surface is reasonable, but on top it is very bad. There are some tough parts in it but certainly not over hundreds of meters.
Altijd afgevraagd war dat weggetje naar toe liep, en vandaag maar eens verkend. Aardige klim maar zeker iet zo pittig als de Côte de Hansez die er vlakbij ligt. Gedurende de klim is het wegdek redelijk, maar bovenop is het zeer slecht. Er zitten enkele pittige stukjes in maar zeker niet over honderden meters.

Deze beklimming maar eens genomen bij een rondje Voerstreek / Land van Herve. Een erg pittige verassing. De percentages tussen 500 meter en de kilometer zijn namelijk veel steiler dan hier wordt aangegeven. Volgens mijn Mio fiets je hier tussen de 15% en 20%. En ik kan dat beamen want regelmatig kwam mijn voorwiel omhoog. Heerlijke beklimming!
