You think while riding, what an annoying stretch of false flat. Also because the road surface during the first section consists of clay clinkers that have collapsed here and there. This is followed by concrete slabs. It feels like you can barely move forward. Because of the road surface, but not because of the slope itself.
Fair amount of traffic on this road, but there is a cycle lane.
At the end you can see the water tower of Vissenaken. Then you realise that you did indeed ride up a "slope".
Je denkt tijdens het rijden, wat een ambetant stuk vals plat. Ook omdat het wegdek tijdens het eerste gedeelte bestaat uit kleiklinkers die hier en daar zijn ingezakt. Nadien volgen nog betonplaten. Het voelt aan dat je amper vooruit raakt. Door het wegdek, maar niet door de helling zelf.
Redelijk wat verkeer op deze weg, maar er is een fietssuggestiestrook.
Op het einde zie je de watertoren van Vissenaken liggen. Dan heb je door dat je weldegelijk een "helling" bent opgereden.
