Nice climb from Schin op Geul via Koulen to Termaar/Klimmen. The climb starts in Schin op Geul already on Hoogbeek. At the junction by the church, turn right and immediately start the first steeper part of the climb. You go over the railway crossing of the Miljoenenlijn and then across a bridge over the Heerlen-Maastricht railway line. From this bridge it then flattens out for about 500 metres. Then the second steeper part of the climb starts but it is shorter than the part in Schin op Geul. It then flattens out until it reaches the hamlet of Koulen.
Leuke klim vanuit Schin op Geul via Koulen naar Termaar/Klimmen. De klim begint in Schin op Geul al op Hoogbeek. Op de kruising bij de kerk ga je rechtsaf en begin je gelijk aan het eerste steilere stuk van de klim. Je gaat over de spoorwegovergang van de Miljoenenlijn en daarna via een brug over de spoorlijn Heerlen-Maastricht. Vanaf deze brug vlakt het dan ca. 500 meter af. Dan begint het tweede steilere stuk van de klim maar het is korter dan het stuk in Schin op Geul. Daarna vlakt het tot aan het buurtschap Koulen af.
Very varied - both in terms of environment and slope - and beautiful climb up from the Geul valley. In Schin op Geul you start with a relaxed swing after which you turn right and climb quite steeply over a level crossing and later on over a bridge (nice view) over another railway line. Then follows a second climb up through beautiful green surroundings.
Zeer gevarieerde - zowel qua omgeving als qua helling - en mooie klim vanuit het Geuldal omhoog. In Schin op Geul begin je met een relaxte slinger waarna je rechtsaf en daarna behoorlijk steil omhoog gaat over een spoorwegovergang en later over een brug (leuk uitzicht) over een andere spoorlijn. Daarna volgt een tweede klim door een fraaie groene omgeving omhoog.
