A very steep but varied climb that leads to the beautiful village of Uschione. By mountain or gravel bike, you can continue over very steep ramps and flat sections to Pradella die Piuro, a beautiful alpine village with a fantastic view of the Bergell.
Sehr steiler, aber abwechslungsreicher Anstieg der in das wunderschöne Örtchen Uschione führt. Mit dem Mountain- oder Gravelbike kann man über sehr steile Rampen und flache Teilstrecken weiter nach Pradella die Piuro fahren, eine wunderschöne Almsiedlung mit geniale Blick ins Bergell.
This short dead-end climb (cycled June 2025) starts after turning off the busy road towards Lake Como/Milan just outside Chiavenna.
You immediately dive under the railway bridge to then immediately climb firmly on a straight road between the houses of Prata Camportaccio to the church square.
Afterwards, you climb the eastern flank of the valley through many hairpin bends, past rock formations, alternating between shady woods and open spaces with panoramic views.

Deze korte doodlopende klim (gefietst juni 2025) start na het afdraaien van de drukke weg richting Comomeer / Milaan even buiten Chiavenna.
Je duikt meteen de spoorwegbrug onderdoor om nadien direct stevig op rechte weg tussen de huizen van Prata Camportaccio door te klimmen tot op het kerkplein.
Nadien zo goed als verkeersvrij en onbewoond de oostflank van de vallei omhoog via vele haarspeldbochten,langs rotsformaties,afwisselend schaduwrijk woud en open plekken met panoramisch zicht.
Continu flirten met / boven de grens van de +10 pct !!!
Wegdek is wisselend van kwaliteit. Geen bevoorrading onderweg of aan het eindpunt.
Na het CF eindpunt kan je nog verder / hoger, op zelfs spiksplinternieuw asfalt, tot afgelegen samengesteld agrarisch bergdorp Uschione waar het echt stopt voor een racefiets.
Stevige verborgen uitdaging,ontdekt dankzij Climbfinder, zoals er meerder zijn in de buurt van Chiavenna.
