Nice running climb, previously ridden twice by car during a tourist tour. Back then, because of the large amount of truck traffic, I decided to do this climb on a Sunday. I enjoyed it very much. Lots of motorcyclists, but no truck traffic.
Mooi lopende klim, eerder 2x gereden met de auto tijdens een toeristische rondrit. Toen i.v.m. het grote aanbod van vrachtverkeer al besloten om deze klim te doen op een zondag. Dat is me super bevallen. Wel veel motorrijders , maar geen vrachtverkeer.
Driven on in the night, and even then trucks. Man man man man. Views I can't say much about. Road surface was good and I found it quite snappy.
In de nacht op gereden, en zelfs toen vrachtwagens. Man man man. Uitzicht kan ik weinig over zeggen. Wegdek was goed en ik vond het best een pittig ding.
Did this climb to Puerto de Zafarraya from Velez Malaga today, 1 March 2023. Did this whole climb, to eventually 910 mtr altitude on 34-25/28, over very good road surface. The only downside is that during this climb huge lorries in both directions overtook or approached me, sometimes leaving little room for the drivers. A great climb with beautiful views, though. At the starting point it was still 19° but as the climb progressed it cooled down quickly, reaching a paltry 9° at the top. A collie or arm warmers are recommended for the descent at this time of year.
Vandaag 1 maart 2023 deze klim naar Puerto de Zafarraya gedaan vanuit Velez Malaga. Deze hele klim, naar uiteindelijk 910 mtr hoogte op de 34-25/28 gedaan, over zeer goed wegdek. Enige minpunt is dat tijdens deze klim kolossen van vrachtwagens in beide richtingen mij inhaalden of tegemoet kwamen waarbij soms weing ruimte werd gelaten door de chauffeurs. Wel een schitterende klim met mooie vergezichten. Was het bij het startpunt nog 19° maar allengs de klim koelde het snel af, tot bovenop nog een schamele 9°. Een colletje of armstukken zijn wel aan te raden voor de afdaling in deze tijd van het jaar.
Did this climb from Viñuela. Beautiful undulating roads. The climb is never very steep and runs nicely. Beautiful views. Good road surface.
Vanuit Viñuela deze klim gedaan. Mooie glooiende wegen. De klim is nergens heel stijl en loopt lekker. Prachtige vergezichten. Goed wegdek.
