I Myself have done this climb it's for me like a monthly climb just for fun, But when it rains almost at the top don't use the gutter since it's really slippery so you just lose traction on your back wheel. Right Now they are working there but you can still go past just don't ride this downhill because it's hell.
It is a nice climb if it's dry but if you can't endure the cobbles don't try to ride in the gutter because if it's raining you will slip immediately and you are currently in the middle of the road work but you can still pass through on the left. if you need to descend don't!
Those who love cobblestones will certainly find their liking in this mini-Kwaremont. For me, it's just downright hell.
Wie kasseien lief heeft, vind in deze mini-Kwaremont zeker zijn gading. Voor mij is het gewoon een regelrechte hel.
This is not a steep mountain. But the cobblestones are really bad. The first part of the cobbles is just mixed up, like Molenberg. Second part of the cobblestones is better. Watch out for the gutter, you are close to the electro shock wire and if you can't keep your balance you are electrocuted. I almost fell on the cobblestones because the gutter can also be wet and therefore very dangerous. The second part of the gutter is in the sun and mostly dry and the electric wire is 2-3 meters away from you.
Dit is geen steile berg. Maar de kasseien liggen er echt slecht bij. Het eerste deel kasseien is gelijk door elkaar gegooid, à la molenberg. Tweede deel kasseien, ligt al beter. Pas ook op voor het gootje je zit dicht tegen de elektro shock draad en als je je evenwicht niet goed kan houden ben je geelektrokuteerd, ik viel zelf ook bijna op de kasseien omdat het gootje ook nat kan zijn en daardoor heel gevaarlijk. Tweede deel gootje ligt in de zon en meestal droog en de elektriciteitsdraad is ook al op 2-3 meter van je.
