Nice climb from the river La Fluvià at Esponellà with great views towards Lake Banyoles. What made my descent of the Martis even more special were the Bombardier fire planes using the lake to scoop water to fight forest fires not uncommon in this area. Very impressive!

Aardige klim vanaf de rivier La Fluvià bij Esponellà met een prachtig uitzicht richting het meer van Banyoles. Wat mijn afdaling van de Martis nog specialer maakte, waren de brandweervliegtuigen van Bombardier die het meer gebruiken om water te scheppen om de in dit gebied niet ongebruikelijke bosbranden te bestrijden.
