Nice climb with a tough middle section between the tunnels and another section through the forest. Not very special, but it takes a bit of effort.

You drive out of the village via a straight stretch. Steepest stretch comes before the motorway. After the motorway, you turn right through a forest. here, however, it is already smoothed out. In itself a nice way to drive out of the village.

At St. Gerlach, it takes a bit of watching where to turn off to start this climb. As you drive towards the railway tunnel, it starts to slowly climb. Most of the ascent is between the railway tunnel and the tunnel that runs under the A-79 motorway. If you turn right into In de Schreub after this, it's a bit of a stretch to the top.

Cycled to avoid the busier main road from Houthem/Sint Gerlach to Valkenburg. At the end of a tough ride, my legs did fill up a bit although it all doesn't take very long. The climb otherwise made little impression on me.

A nice climb but not really special. Between the tunnels is a nice steep and in the forest follows another piece. First part has good asphalt but in the forest it gets worse (but still fine to ride). At the top beautiful view towards the highway viaduct.

A two-stage rocket! First a steep part from viaduct to viaduct and then an even steeper part through the forest. Heavy enough and you will definitely feel that. Beautiful climb. Too bad that after the 2nd viaduct the road surface is of very poor quality.
