Boring climb on the separate cycle path of the main road from Kekrade to Heerlen-Spekholzerheide. Most gradient is in the beginning. Then false flat until the top.
Saaie klim over vrijliggend fietspad van de doorgaande weg van Kekrade naar Heerlen-Spekholzerheide. Meeste stijgingspercentage zit in het begin. Daarna tot aan de top vals plat.
Very flat climb from the valley of the Anstelerbeek. The part before the viaduct is the steepest. After that the road seems to descend but it only gets a bit flatter and then rises again.
After the finish the trail keeps on climbing (as if it were a false flat) until it reaches the approach road of the N281. It's very gradual, but after many meters you'll feel it a bit.
Zeer vlakke klim vanuit het dal van de Anstelerbeek. Het gedeelte voor het viaduct is het steilst. Daarna lijkt de weg te dalen maar deze wordt alleen wat vlakker en loopt daarna weer op.
Na het "eindpunt" blijft de weg overigens stijgen (als vals plat) tot de oprit van de N281. Heel geleidelijk maar na veel hoogtemeters voel je het wel een beetje.
