As a climb a bit of an "instinkertje". Until halfway, the gradient rises like a spicier false flat and the climbing is not too bad. This is followed by the steepest part and you have to work hard to cycle up. The last part to the top then flattens out again.
Als klim een beetje een "instinkertje". Tot halfverwege loopt het stijgingspercentage als een pittiger vals plat omhoog en valt het klimmen mee. Hierna volgt het steilste deel en moet je flink aan de bak om fietsend verder omhoog te komen. Het laatste deel tot de top vlakt dan weer af.
Nice climb but is slightly less tackled, probably due to its similar 'neighbours' (Ladeuze, Eikenberg, Kapelleberg, boigneberg). However, it is still a nice climb to take in. Quiet, beautiful scenery. Harder than you might think because of the steep section in the middle and the cobbles after the top. Maybe that's why most prefer to ride up Kapelleberg anyway?
Mooie klim maar wordt iets minder aangedaan, waarschijnlijk door zijn gelijkaardige 'buren' (Ladeuze, Eikenberg, Kapelleberg, boigneberg). Het blijft echter een mooie klim om mee te nemen. Rustig, mooie omgeving. Lastiger dan je zou denken door het steile stuk in het midden en de kasseien na de top. Misschien is dat wel de reden waarom de meesten toch liever de Kapelleberg op rijden?
Have done this climb a few times now, and keep misfiring a bit. Quite a steep section in the middle. Other than that, nice tarmac all over the climb. After the top, though, a bit of cobbles which you can miss if you've just climbed this mountain?
Heb deze klim nu al een paar keer gedaan, en mispak me er steeds wat aan. Best een steil stuk in het midden. Verder wel mooi asfalt over de hele klim. Na de top wel een stukje kasseien die je wel kan missen als je net deze berg beklommen hebt?

Leuke klim met goed asfalt. Rustig omhoog varen(t) zit er niet in, na het steile stukje is het de kunst nog flink tempo te maken voor de kasseien. Voor het échte Vlaamse gevoel.
