Wening pit but beautiful scenery, especially the last part. The "bad road surface" I found the "bad road surface to be incredibly not so bad, especially compared to Walloon road surface. You really don't need to worry about that. The barrier was open so no problem there but after the summit, on the descent, you also encounter one that is closed (with a bike lane next to it). Halfway up the climb you pass the Airborne Cemetery, definitely worth a visit.
Weinig pit maar wel een mooie omgeving, vooral het laatste deel. Het "slechte wegdek" vond ik ontzettend meevallen, helemaal vergeleken met Waals wegdek. Je hoeft je daar echt geen zorgen over te maken. De slagboom stond open dus daar geen probleem maar na de top kom je in de afdaling er ook één tegen die wel dicht zit (met een fietsstrook er naast). Halverwege de klim kom je langs de Airborne Cemetery, absoluut een bezoek waard.
fits nicely into a round trip on the road bike. one note: watch out for the barriers. sometimes they are not clearly visible through the dark foliage, they also open and close unpredictably. count on closed, then it can always turn out better :-)
past prima in een rondje op de racefiets. één opmerking: pas op de slagbomen. soms zijn ze door het donkere bladerdek niet goed zichtbaar, ze staan ook onvoorspelbaar open en dicht. reken op dicht, dan kan het altijd meevallen :-)
