Hello,

Since the bridge (and road) collapsed, the sheepfolds are no longer accessible by bike (or car, for that matter). The shuttle buses stop earlier on the road and you have to walk.
It's still a very, very nice walk

Bonjour,

Ridden way before Strava and digital photography, but is still fresh in the memory. What a gorgeous, quiet road this is. Spicy through a Gorge with pine trees and ending at a shepherd's hut. I was welcomed there with biscuits and wine by a couple of Italians who had overtaken me by car while I toiled uphill. Later, walking from that hut, I went further up. Beautiful scenery. Alpine at the top.

Prachtig landschap. Alpien bovenin.
