The southern slope of Roccolo does not enjoy the same fame as the northern one, being shorter and less demanding. It begins at the Roverello Pass (which can be reached from Galzignano or Faedo) and after an initial downhill section, climbs progressively, touching double-digit gradients only at the end. There are some interesting panoramic views in the woods and the presence of a small church halfway along the route. The asphalt is undoubtedly better than on the opposite side.
Il versante Sud del Roccolo non gode della stessa fama di quello Nord, essendo più corto e meno impegnativo. Inizia al passo del Roverello (raggiungibile da Galzignano o da Faedo) e dopo un tratto iniziale in discesa sale progressivamente toccando pendenza in doppia cifra solo nel finale. Interessante qualche scorcio panoramico nel bosco e la presenza di una Chiesetta a metà percorso. L'asfalto è senz'altro migliore rispetto al versante opposto.
