A really tough climb, south-facing with very little shade and a lot of steppe around 20％, more than once I was tempted to put my foot down but a hint of pride and the indistinct vision of a more clement stretch in the distance made me desist... definitely harder than the Mortirolo from Mazzo but worth doing if you're a bit of a masochist like all grimpeurs!
Salita veramente dura. esposta a sud con pochissima ombra e con parecchi strappi intorno al 20％, più di una volta sono stato tentato di mettere giù il piedino ma un pizzico di orgoglio e l’indistinta visione di un tratto più clemente in lontananza mi ha fatto desistere…decisamente più duro del Mortirolo da Mazzo ma da fare se si è un po’ masochisti come tutti i grimpeurs!
Great climb! Lead and lead and lead heavy. I saw this one listed when I was camping in Edolo and judging by Vespavanbern's reaction I thought it wouldn't be too bad. But no, that friend of his was right haha! Bizarre, absurd climb, but very cool to be able to cross off!
Geweldige klim! Lood en lood en loodzwaar. Ik zag deze staan toen ik in Edolo op een camping zat en gezien de reactie van Vespavanbern dacht ik dat het mee zou vallen. Maar nee, die vriend van hem had gelijk haha! Bizarre, absurde klim, maar erg gaaf om af te kunnen strepen!
Well to do. A friend of mine had described this climb as super hard, it would even be harder than the mortirolo! The opposite was true. Yes it is tough, but short (relatively speaking) and not several km's giga steep. The environment is nice, but in the neighborhood you have many gavere climbs.
Prima te doen. Een vriend van mij had deze klim als super zwaar aangeschreven, hij zou zelfs zwaarder dan de mortirolo zijn! Het tegendeel bleek. Ja het is pittig, maar kort (relatief dan) en niet meerdere km's giga steil. De omgeving is leuk, maar in de buurt heb je veel gavere klimmen.
