If you're on lake como, why not do this ride. It's relatively easy and some of the elevated views of the Lecco Leg of the lake are worth it. You can then go on to ascend to the top of the Ghisallo or Colma Si Sormano (Muro if you're brave or insane)
A nice climb, not particularly demanding but with a beautiful view of the lake. Arriving in Valbrona you will find a cosy spot for cyclists with a nice fountain. At this point you can climb towards Ghisallo or towards the Colma di Sormano.
Una bella salita, non particolarmente impegnativa ma con una vista sul lago molto bella. Arrivati a Valbrona troverete un accogliente punto per i ciclisti con una bella fontana. A questo punto potrete salire verso il Ghisallo o verso la Colma di Sormano.
Enjoyable ascent, only challenging in places. Beautiful view of the lake as you ascend on the left, very cold in winter!

Quite a nice climb. Along rock faces, through dense forest, a bit of everything. I did it in an extra loop because I had to wait a few hours for the ferry.
However, at the top of the climb there is not much to do and on the other side you come across quite busy roads. So, all in all, maybe not really worth the effort (or do the same climb down again).
Best een mooi klimmetje. Langs rotswanden, door het dichte bos, van alles wat. Ik heb deze gedaan in een extra lusje omdat ik nog een paar uur moest wachten op de ferry.
Echter, bovenaan de klim is weinig te beleven en je komt aan de andere kant op vrij drukke wegen. Dus al met al misschien niet echt de moeite waard (of zelfde klim weer afdalen)
