Tough climb in the second section after the deviation from the provincial road towards Gerola Alta in the municipality of Rasura: here the asphalt is in poor condition so it is better to tackle the climb with a gravel or MTB and at that point where the asphalt ends and the dirt road begins climb another 150 m (3 hairpin bends) to the Bar Bianco refuge. Salita tosta nel secondo tratto dopo la deviazione dalla provinciale verso Gerola Alta nel comune di Rasura: qui l'asfalto è in brutte condizioni quindi è meglio affrontare la salita con una gravel o una MTB e a quel punto dove termina l'asfalto e comincia lo sterrato salire ancora di 150 m (3 tornanti) fino al rifugio Bar Bianco.
