One of the best climbs in the state. Beautiful paved bike path. A couple of steep sections but mostly a steady, manageable grade. Picnic tables along the way. A truly great ride. Watch for the downhill tours, they tend to take up the whole path. A must ride if you're in the area. Locals tip, get lunch at the Vail golf course, not as busy as in town and great food.... read more

One of the best climbs in the state. Beautiful paved bike path. A couple of steep sections but mostly a steady, manageable grade. Picnic tables along the way. A truly great ride. Watch for the downhill tours, they tend to take up the whole path. A must ride if you're in the area. Locals tip, get lunch at the Vail golf course, not as busy as in town and great food.
