Korte klim in de wijk Vaalser Quartier die zo'n 500 meter over de grens begint thv het voetbalveld. Je rijdt over een slecht/smal fietspad langs de Vaalser Strasse richting het centrum van Aken. Klim loopt langzaam op. De top ligt thv de Vaalser Grill. Daar mogelijkheid om richting Seffent te gaan of de wijk Steppenberg in te gaan om zo richting het Preuswald te gaan.
