The climb starts with a succession of not too steep hairpins, but there's quite a few of them to get to Bratsch, where the climb becomes a little more pleasant thanks to the view over the Rhone valley. After passing through 2 more villages, you reach Jeizinen and the climb begins in a different atmosphere. In some sections the tarmac is good, in others it's really bad. Once you reach Untere Feselalpe, the final ramps will knock you off your feet! The gradients are impressive and after this long climb it really does seem endless. The aim of the outing shouldn't be to go for a stroll, it's a really demanding outing, a real challenge, if not an ordeal!
